The elderly owner of the museum is now selling its contents after it shut last year.
The unusual haul available includes almost 1,000 items such as armoured cars, a ship's cannon and a Cold War Berliner dining car.
There are also odd-looking mannequins of the Royal Family, Henry VIII and Adolf Hitler which were displayed at the venue.
The hulking Blackburn Beverley transport aircraft XB259 is the last surviving example of a historic British aircraft.
The Beverley was introduced in 1957 and only 49 of them were made. It served in conflicts in the Middle East in the 1960s.
They could transfer paratroopers and cargo and ware particularly important as they could land on rough desert terrain.
After a decade of sterling service, the Beverley, which was operated by the RAF Transport Command, was retired by the RAF in 1967 and replaced by the Hercules.
UNIQUE HAUL
The buyer would have to dismantle the aircraft and reassemble it at a new location, a process which could cost thousands of pounds.
Andrew Baitson, auctioneer at Gilbert Baitson, said: "The museum closed at the end of last year as the owner, who is in his 80s, lost his wife.
"He is retired and he is now selling the museum's contents which is made up of almost 1,000 items.

"The Beverley is the last remaining one so it is a remarkable piece of history.
"It was an important post-war aircraft and it would be good to see it preserved for future generations."
The sale takes place tomorrow.
