We know what you're thinking: surely this fragile "tree" is just a disaster waiting to happen.
However, you can buy specially-designed drying racks which you can slot your bottles onto to make a Christmas tree shape - although they'll usually set you back around £200 at least.
Alternatively, using cardboard boxes is another (less secure) way to achieve this effect on the cheap.
Once they've stacked their wine bottles onto their different levels, savvy mums have then covered the "tree" in fairy lights and fake fir branches.

However, others have achieved the same look by adding bottles onto the branches of their artificial trees.
What's more, it doesn't just have to be wine bottles you proudly display on your tree.
Showing off their creations on Instagram, bars have even added spirit bottles into the mix to get a more colourful effect.
Just don't forget to save the biggest bottle for last...
