He paired with "Woken" Matt Hardy to form The Deleters of Worlds.

They won at the Greatest Royal Rumble 2017 for the tag team title vacated by Braun Strowman and Nicholas.

Bray Wyatt last appearance on RAW

In his last appearance on RAW, Wyatt had a moment with The Undertaker.

Fans feel like this set up an opportunity he can now never take.

One X user wrote: "This just felt like it SHOULD have been the passing the torch moment, one creepy supernatural fellow to another creepy supernatural fellow.

"But now... bray is just... gone. Never will I ever feel the same again."

Some felt that the encounter was fitting: "Looking back if you ask me this is legitimately a perfect moment to be a Last moment you're getting to share it with The Undertaker.

"Unfortunately Bray Wyatt passed away he truly is one of the all time greats in all honesty."

‘He will be back’

In early August 2023, wrestling journalist Bill Apter spoke to Bray Wyatt’s father who told him: “Don’t believe what you see on the internet. But he will be back,” Sportskeeda reported.

However, according to wrestling reporter Sean Ross Sapp, Wyatt died of a heart attack.

“I was given permission to reveal that earlier this year Windham Rotunda (Bray Wyatt) got COVID that exacerbated a heart issues,” he wrote on X. “There was a lot of positive progress towards a return and his recovery.”

WWE’s emotional tribute, part two

After the arena sat for a moment of silence, WWE played a video montage of Bray Wyatt.

The video began with Wyatt walking through a lit-up arena holding his signature lantern.

It featured some of his greatest moments as a wrestler, including winning the tag-team championship, the birth of the Firefly Fun House, holding his championship belt, the introduction of Wyatt’s character, “The Fiend,” and photos with his family.

Wyatt was then seen telling a crowd: “I am Bray Wyatt, forever.”

The montage ended with Wyatt’s speech when he returned to WWE. He told the arena: “I can look all of you in the eye and I can say… thank you.”

The final clip was Wyatt blowing out the candle on his signature lantern.

WWE’s emotional tribute

WWE paid an emotional tribute to Bray Wyatt on Friday Night SmackDown.

The show began with a slew of wrestlers on stage as broadcaster Michael Cole asked the arena to join them in a moment of silence.

As the crowd fell silent, the traditional 10-bell salute rang in honor of Bray Wyatt and WWE legend, Terry Funk.

Bray Wyatt’s merchandise sales benefit family

Bray Wyatt was more than a famous wrestler, as he left behind an incredible legacy including four children.

Shortly after Wyatt’s death, WWE announced that all the proceeds from his merchandise sales would go to his family.

On the official website it wrote: “In the wake of Bray Wyatt’s death, WWE will donate all net proceeds to support JoJo Offerman and his children.”
