AUNT ‘WANTED HAPPINESS’ FOR HER NIECE
“Lauren was a product of a highly dysfunctional family involving drugs, alcohol, physical, emotional, verbal and sexual abuse,” Lauren Scott AKA Dakota Skye’s aunt told The US Sun.
Linda Arden said: “She was stalked by demons like no one will ever understand unless you’ve lived it.”
“I loved her unconditionally and I just wanted happiness for her.”
GOFUND ME FOR FUNERAL COSTS
A GoFundMe has been started to raise money for Dakota Skye’s funeral. Dakota was found dead on June 9.
“It is with a heavy heart and great sadness that we are setting up this memorial fund for Lauren Kaye Scott,” the fundraiser says.
According to the fundraiser, Dakota will be transported across the country for the funeral. So far, $12,830 has been raised.
“We are currently working on funeral arrangements but find that it is more expensive than we could have imagined and are struggling to find funds to help cover the cost,” the fundraiser says.
“No one expected the loss of this beautiful soul so early in her life. In order to arrange funeral services, Lauren will need to be brought across the country to her final resting place so that her immediate family can join in a celebration of her life,” it goes on.

FRIENDS AND FAMILY LEFT DEVASTATED
Dakota's family and friends said they were devastated by her death.
“Dakota was a dear friend and part of our industry family, and we are saddened by her loss,” her friend and porn industry insider James Bartholet told AVN Magazine.
“She still had so much more to give to the world and to the industry, and I’m just very saddened and at a loss for words.”
WHY WAS DAKOTA ARRESTED?
Dakota Skye, real named Lauren Scott, was arrested in 2017 for slapping her boyfriend in the face after sex, busting his lip.
Then 23, she allegedly hit him because he got mad she wouldn’t get off her phone and leave his Florida home.
Scott, who listed her employer as the “porn industry” on the arrest affidavit, was arrested on a misdemeanor domestic battery charge.
'RAY OF SUNSHINE'
Dakota has been described as a "ray of sunshine on sets” by several people who worked with her in her eight years in the industry.
Skye performed for a long list of prominent studios and starred in more than 300 films.
Sources familiar with the model also mentioned that in her private life she had been plagued by personal struggles.
Most recently, Skye had expressed anger and frustration at being targeted by abusive online trolls.
