The 42-year-old ex-WWE wrestler must also serve two years of probation for the incident in Rochester Hills, Michigan.
He is currently scheduled to be released from jail in early December.
Rasmussen was arraigned in November on charges of assault with intent to do great bodily harm less than murder or by strangulation and was given a $25,000 cash surety bond.
He pleaded no contest just before trial in July, meaning Rasmussen accepted the conviction but did not admit any guilt.

Rasmussen was in the backseat of a truck at around 2am when he tried to grab the steering wheel of the Silverado pickup and strangle the driver, the Oakland County Sheriff’s Office said at the time.
The 31-year-old driver stopped the vehicle on a Michigan highway and ran from the car.
Rasmussen's girlfriend, Sarah Ratliff, 30, was in the passenger seat and simultaneously ran from the truck.
She was hit by an SUV that was driving 100 feet from the vehicle and died shortly after at a hospital.
