I designed a custom NFL jacket for Taylor Swift – Brittany Mahomes made it happen and it was a 'pinch-me' moment

KRISTIN Juszczyk has revealed she was brought to tears when Taylor Swift wore one of her custom NFL jackets.

The wife of San Francisco 49ers fullback Kyle Juszczyk added that her life has been transformed ever since the pop megastar wore her designer Travis Kelce jacket to a Kansas City Chiefs playoff game.

And Kristin cannot thank Swift enough for the impact she has had on her ever-growing fashion career.

"She’s single handedly catapulted my career," Kristin told the Today show.

"I’ve been at this for years. When I saw her walk out in that jacket, it just like, brought me to tears."

Kristin owes a huge debt of gratitude to Brittany Mahomes, the wife of Chiefs superstar quarterback Patrick Mahomes.

The fashion designer had previously made a jacket for Brittany and, taking a chance, she asked her to pass on a Kelce jacket she made for Swift.

"Brittany texted me and she said, 'Hey, can you send me a video of Taylor’s jacket?'" Kristen recalled.

"And I was like, 'Wait, is there a possibility the guys both wearing this?'

"And she said, 'Yeah, we’re wearing it.'

"It was just such a pinch-me moment. I mean, it just was incredible."

Kristin revealed she had no idea what Swift's measurements were when she made the jacket.

"No one will believe this, but it's true. I had nobody's measurements," she told People.

"I googled Taylor Swift's height, and I just winged it."

Kristin's social media following has also exploded since Swift's viral moment during the Chiefs' playoff victory against the Miami Dolphins last month.

She gained more than 500,000 followers on Instagram in one week alone, increasing her following from 115,000 to 617,0000.

Since then she has been granted a license to use the NFL’s official logo on her designs.

"I've been at this for a few years now, and my goal was always to be able to get that NFL licensing deal so I can get fans into my clothing," she says.

"I realized it's just not enough to just be dressing myself."

And she has been contacted by "every company, every news outlet," according to her husband.

"She has every option on the table right now and is going back and forth with a few companies," Kyle told reporters.

"Some good stuff’s going to come from this. She’s doing a really good job of managing it."

Incredibly, Kristin now has more followers than her NFL star husband, who has just under 400,000 fans on Instagram.

The NFL also tagged Kristin in nine posts across Twitter, Instagram, and TikTok, with nearly 100 million people across platforms seeing the jacket, per sports business reporter Joe Pompliano.

The posts were also worth $2.1million in social value, according to audience analytics company Zoomph.

"Crazy how powerful one person is," Kyle said of Swift.

Kristin plans to roll out more of her fashion items for Super Bowl LVIII, which is being staged between the Chiefs and San Francisco 49ers at Allegiant Stadium on February 11.

"We have some exciting people coming up too for the Super Bowl... we're still working on it, but I know I got Kyle," she said of her husband.

"I made him something really special. And I think everyone’s gonna absolutely love it."
