A DISNEY fan has shared how he used a ticket from the 1970s to get into Magic Kingdom.
Matthew Ables said he always assumed the old ticket was a family keepsake and could never get him into the park today.

"Until I realized it's never been used and there's no expiration date," Ables said in a video on his TikTok page (@matthewables).
Ables explained that the ticket was 46 years old and originally worth $8.
The video showed him examining the ticket, which was part of a packet that read, "10 Adventures in Walt Disney World The Magic Kingdom."
The booklet also included the words "complimentary guest."

He wasn't sure if it would work but decided to try it out at the park in Florida.
He flew to Orlando and once at the park, he spoke with a worker and explained that the ticket was from 1978.
"I was getting nervous there because she started aggressively stamping 'void' all over the ticket booklet and then left," he said in his video.
However, the worker came back and brought Ables a yellow Mickey pass that got him into Magic Kingdom, he said.

His video then showed him using his finger print to enter the park at the turnstiles.
"I can't believe this actually worked," he said.
The ticket would cost more than 20 times its original value if purchased today.
The video ended with ticket prices displayed on a screen that showed a Magic Kingdom ticket for ages 10 and up was $164 and a ticket for ages 3 to 9 was $159.
The video amassed over eight million views and 800,000 likes with many people congratulating him for his success in getting into the park.
"Glad that Disney honored it for you!" one viewer wrote.
"I used to work Magic Kingdom Guest Relations. This exact scenario would happen a few times a week!" someone else said.
A few viewers said they'd also gotten into the park with retro tickets.
Others were heartbroken that he wasn't able to keep his booklet of tickets despite the worker stamping them with the word "void."
"Dude that was worth so much money," one person said of the booklet.
"That was a treasured relic. I do hope they put it up like a museum piece," someone else wrote.
The U.S. Sun previously reported on the price hike on multiple types of tickets for the theme parks.
Tickets for Florida's Walt Disney World which has Magic Kingdom, Animal Kingdom, Hollywood Studios, and Epcot, will rise between $30 and $50 depending on the type of pass.
Parking at all of the parks will also increase by $5, however, the standard ticket will remain at $109.
In California's Disneyland, almost every ticket option will increase by $5 to $65, and the annual passes will increase by 3.1 percent to 21.5 percent depending on the plan.
