THIS woman was not getting into the nostalgic 70s mood when she tried on Skims’ new shiny pants.
Emily Miller purchased Skims’ new “disco pant” style thinking she would be receiving something much more impressive than what she actually got.

Emily recorded a Skims review on her TikTok, first saying: “So I literally never come on here and speak but I wanted to do a review of the new Skims Disco [line].
“I thought it was important to share it before you spend hundreds of dollars on basically an American Apparel knockoff,” she added.
She admitted that she owns many Skims “basics,” saying: “I’m literally wearing the top, the bra, the underwear, everything.”
But when it came to her new disco pant order, it was a different story.

“Let’s just start off by saying I am so disappointed,” Emily declared while wearing a metallic silver pair of the $98 pants.
“For reference, these are a medium and I’m 5’7”,” she added.
Although Emily is relatively tall, the bottom of the pants still pooled and bunched around her ankles.
"They literally took their leggings and just made them shiny," she added.

“They’re super thin. You can see every single line, mark, crevice that you have on your body,” she also noted.
As Emily walked closer to the camera, the seams of her underwear were very noticeable through the material.
“And when you walk, it just falls down and it does this little thingy,” she said.
As she marched in place, the “thingy” she was referring to was extra material around the crotch area bunching up. The loose fabric didn’t cling to Emily's body as desired.

“I don’t like it,” she said, also adding: “I don’t know, I’m just so unimpressed.”
Referencing how she thought this piece was a knockoff, Emily said: “I was such a slut for American Apparel back in 2015 and I remember the disco pants, and that sh*t stayed on your body. Like it was glue.”
The now-defunct brand sold a style that was reminiscent of the skin-tight spandex pants that Sandy wears in the final scenes of “Grease.”
They can still be purchased through Amazon for around $45.
“This almost needs to be tighter,” she said of the Skims style as she bunched up the loose material in the back of the waistband.

Throughout the video, Emily also kept shimmying, squatting, and hiking up the pants because they kept sliding down.
“Like what is this?” she asked as she pulled at the crotch area, expressing that she wouldn’t be able to wear the pants in public.
“Thank god I didn’t get the pink or black because no, not good,” she said, adding: “I will be returning.”

Other people were just as shocked about the quality and fit of the pants.
“OMG the pants,” one person wrote, while another added: “They did American Apparel dirty smh.”
