A VERY lucky lottery player has won multiple times but lost over $8 million on her most recent win.
Desiree Fortini-Craft first won the lottery in 2006, earning $1 million on a scratch ticket.

On December 1, she hit it big and won $25 million in the Massachusetts State Lottery's Billion Dollar Extravaganza game.
She was the third and final winner of the jackpot, but she still wasn't done playing.
A few days after claiming the top prize, Fortini-Craft walked into the West Roxbury store where she regularly buys her tickets to play one more game.
She bought a few more of the $50 scratch tickets - which are the most expensive sold in the state.

Incredibly, she won again and added $500 to her total winnings.
"She's very happy, she's excited. She bought a couple tickets, she won again," Baker Street Market co-owner Kathy Dakoyannis told WBZ-TV.
"She's a lucky lady."
The shop owner says Fortini-Craft is a "pretty regular" customer who always buys her tickets in pairs.

Unfortunately, the extra-lucky player had to forgo $8,750,000 of the $25 million prize.
She chose to get a one-time payment of $16,250,000 before taxes rather than annuity payments for an amount closer to the original prize.
Fortini-craft went to pick up her prize money with her fiance, Jason Perkins, and said they are going to enjoy life and plan on "having a really good Christmas in Aruba."
She added that she plans to use some of her winnings to pay off student loans for her three daughters, make some big family purchases, and buy a new car.
