KANSAS City Chiefs star L'Jarius Sneed missed the opening nights of Super Bowl week for a moment he will remember for the rest of his life.
Sneed, 27, was not in attendance for the first two days of Super Bowl week for personal reasons, as he is expecting a child with his girlfriend, Bella Wu.

The Chiefs are in Las Vegas preparing to face the San Francisco 49ers in the Super Bowl; according to NFL Network's Ian Rapoport, Sneed was missing for a valid reason.
"Chiefs captain and star CB L'Jarius Sneed is not present for Super Bowl Opening Night for personal reasons.
"Good news, not bad news," Rapoport tweeted.
That led fans to speculate that he was hurt or something.

However, it was quickly proven that Sneed was out for the birth of his child since his partner recently shared a pregnancy shoot featuring the two on January 27.
She captioned the photos with a heartfelt message:
"I have loved you with an everlasting love- Jeremiah 31:3." and Sneed commented on the post, "B&K with a heart emoji."
And on Monday, she shared another series of photos of the two from a pregnancy shoot with the caption: "Mom and Dad."

Sneed confirmed with the reporters on Wednesday after returning to Las Vegas that he was absent because he was at the birth of his second child.

Sneed only missed the team's padded practice on Monday and their walkthrough on Tuesday and expressed he was happy to be back with his teammates for the Super Bowl.
"I just got here. It's my first day in town.
"I'm just enjoying this moment, just being here," Sneed said.
The Chiefs defeated the Eagles in the Super Bowl last season and are looking to get in the NFL record books as rare consecutive-year champions with their showdown against San Francisco on Sunday.
Kansas City has a chance to win back-to-back Super Bowls, a feat that hasn't been done since Tom Brady and the New England Patriots achieved the task in 2003 and 2004.
However, it will be no cakewalk as the 49ers and star QB Brock Purdy look to cap off a remarkable year after a 12-5 regular season record and two post-season victories over the Green Bay Packers and Detroit Lions.
