Kyle Flood (born January 20, 1971) is a former player and current head coach of the American football league. Flood was appointed the 29th head football coach of the Rutgers Scarlet Knights football team after Greg Schiano took the post of head coach of the Tampa Bay Buccaneers of the National Football League. Since the 1973 season, he is the only Rutgers football head coach to have been promoted from the position of assistant. From 1989 through 1992, Flood played four varsity seasons for the Iona College Gaels, earning four varsity letters in the process.
