NEWPORT, R.I. (WJAR) — A man's body was found inside a portable toilet in Rhode Island, according to authorities.
The Newport Police Departmentidentified the man on Wednesday as 48-year-old Harry Alvarez of Newport.
Police said Alvarez's body was discovered the portable toilet at a construction site.
Police said a worker found the body on Monday around 10:45 a.m. and contacted authorities.
Road construction is being done in the area.
Authorities previously said the cause of the man’s death was under investigation.
Police have not released additional information.
