A PROUD DIYer who showed off her favorite seasonal and money-saving decor hack has proven that fake is the new real.
She had nothing but love for her long-lasting arrangement - especially since it had her spending less.

"This is one of my favorite decor hacks for the spring," said Shannon Doherty (@homewithshannon).
She shared just how to get a full-looking bouquet for less.
"I grabbed a bunch of fake flowers from the Dollar Store, a large vase, she said.
Shannon laid out her faux pink and white florals on the countertop before she shared her secret trick - pouring white glue into the vase.

They might not smell as fresh, but her fake flowers could still fool even floral connoisseurs.
Her floored fans already questions of their own.
"Does the glue eventually harden?" one follower asked.
"No!" she replied.

The best part was that she wouldn't have to spend real money on real flowers ever again.

Shannon simply used Elmer's clue glue that sells at Walmart starting at $1.88.
The non-toxic item had plenty of positive reviews.
"This is about as good a glue as you can get," wrote one reviewer.
"This product works very nicely with various arts and crafts activities. It dries quickly and appears very clean," said another buyer.
Her final floral look was the centerpiece of her festive Easter decor display including colorful eggs, candy, and a bunny.
Others were also awed by the trick.
