"How to beat the heat at home," a woman, up to speed on life hacks, said in a TikTok video on Resooma's (@resooma) account before diving into her tip.
For starters, she said to run a tea towel under some cold water to make it damp.
She then directed viewers to put the damp towel in the freezer for half an hour.
"After half an hour is up, wrap it around your neck to instantly cool yourself down," she advised.

An impressed onlooker in the comments section of the clip thought the idea was stellar.
"Towel round the neck is brilliant," they said.
Previously, a doctor also shared a pretty clever trick that will help you cool down quickly, and it all has to do with your wrists.
"Here's a cool trick where you could hack your brain to cool down," Dr. Karan Raj, an NHS surgeon, started off his social media video where he explained his cool down tip.

"Your body regulates the temperature using this peanut shaped section in the brain known as the hypothalamus.
"This region in the brain basically acts like a thermostat," he explained.
"It can turn the brain up or down depending on various factors like the temperature of the skin.
"There are certain parts of the skin which can influence the hypothalamus more than others, and these areas are known as pulse points.
"These pulse points are areas where the blood vessels are so close to the skin that you could feel them," he said.
Dr. Karan Raj dove into exactly how you can lower your body temperature using these pulse points.
"When you want to lower your body temperature, chill any of these pulse points with cold water.
"This then tricks your brain to turn down the thermostat."
