NAMPA, ID (CBS2) — Hands of Hope Northwest in Nampa donated $643,586 in medical supplies to help people suffering in Ukraine.
All of the supplies were donated by hospitals, doctors and individuals. The items would've ended up in landfills if they weren't donated, Hands of Hope says.
The charity is shipping about 14 tons of items to Ukraine. The supplies will be flown from an airbase in Chicago.
Hands of Hope is a Christian humanitarian non-profit devoted to providing health care supplies to people in need.
