Randal D. Pinkett (born 1971 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania) is a business consultant and the season four winner of the reality television programme The Apprentice. He is best known for his work as a business consultant. Pinkett is the first African-American to be crowned the winner of the American edition of The Apprentice. Pinkett, who has a background in engineering and business, is a Rhodes Scholar and a Walter Byers Scholar, and he has five academic degrees to his name. Înainte of appearing on the reality programme, Pinkett had already built a successful business career, becoming a co-founder of the business consultancy company BCT Partners, which she founded in 2001. Pinkett received a yearlong apprenticeship with Trump Entertainment Resorts in Atlantic City, New Jersey, after being crowned the winner of the fourth season of The Apprentice in December 2005. Following The Apprentice, Pinkett has continued to serve as chairman and CEO of BCT Partners, in addition to serving as a public speaker and participating on subsequent episodes of the programme, as well as on CEO Exchange, and has also entered the political arena.
