STEPHEN A. Smith has suggested the Kansas City Chiefs should be trying everything to trade for Davante Adams.
The veteran ESPN analyst, 56, made the claim alongside Shannon Sharpe on Tuesday's edition of First Take.

Adams has been the subject of frenetic trade rumors ahead of Tuesday's NFL deadline.
The six-time Pro Bowler cut a frustrated figure on Monday Night Football as he slammed his helmet into the turf following a dismal outing.
Adams caught just one pass for 11 yards as the Las Vegas Raiders went down to the Detroit Lions.
Stephen A. remains adamant that the Chiefs are the best landing spot for the veteran receiver.

And he slammed their current receiving corps for supposedly dropping passes throughout an error-strewn defeat to the Denver Broncos this weekend.
Smith said: "I'm more about the Chiefs [on this question].
"We know what Patrick Mahomes brings to the table. Did you know since the start of last season he's thrown just four long touchdown passes since losing Tyreek Hill?
"I know they're the reigning Super Bowl champions. But the flip side is, this season, you've got receivers dropping passes.

"They can't get open. When they get open, they can't catch.
"You've got to go out and get a receiver...Mecole Hardman is not going to be the answer."
Sharpe agreed: "If you put Adams with Mahomes and Travis Kelce, [the Super Bowl fight] is over."
Fans were quick to comment on Stephen A.'s take and flocked to X, formerly known as Twitter.

And another said: "KC go get Davante Adams!"
A third predicted: "I think the Chiefs find a way to get Adams."
Earlier in the show, NFL Insider Adam Schefter gave his own thoughts on a possible trade for Adams before the deadline.
He poured cold water on hopes from Chiefs fans, saying: "No chance in hell."
