Sunrise host Natalie Barr looks red faced as weatherman Sam Mac gets to grips with VERY rude pottery live on air

SUNRISE host Natalie Barr was gobsmacked when hands on weatherman Sam Mac produced a raunchy-looking piece of pottery.

Sam was participating in a pottery lesson live on air when he attempted to make a clay vase - but it did not go to plan.

Things took a turn for the worst when the weatherman started to spin the wet clay into a phallic shape.

A speechless Natalie commented: "What the!?"

"I feel like I'm spinning too fast. Let's slow things down," Sam responded.

Co-hosts Matt Shirvington and Mark Beretta burst into fits of giggles as Sam tried to rescue the situation and "do some reshaping".

The video comes after Sam recently revealed what he would be doing if he wasn't the weatherman after he was asked by a fan.

"A professional dancer. Obvs," he replied  over a clip of himself performing a Latin dance to Shakira's Hips Don't Lie on Dancing with the Stars in 2022.

Sam is used to being the butt of the joke and this hysterical answer came just days after Sam was trolled by schoolchildren.

The children have requested that Robert Irwin, son of Steve Irwin, should replace him on the breakfast show.

In a hilarious image Sam can be seen standing beside children who are holding a sign which reads: "Robert Irwin for weatherman".

This comes as Sam has jokingly feuded with Robert, 19, since he acted as a fill-in last year when he took personal leave.

This is not the only Sunrise clip which left viewers in stitches recently, last summer a clip of Natalie showing of her moves delighted fans.

The Australian presenter, 55, was caught throwing some serious shapes as a guest performed and even joked about joining her squad of back-up dancers.
