FANS of The Walking Dead claim they've worked out who the masked figure is.
Avid followers have linked the mystery person as none other than Claudia from The Walking Dead: The Alien.

Followers have speculated that the masked person will be revealed as Claudia, who is first seen wearing plate armour resembling a medieval knight in the comic series.
Claudia is a sidekick in The Walking Dead: The Alien and a survivor encountered by Jeffrey Grimes in Barcelona.
With her possible introduction, Claudia could be a new protagonist with deep ties to Rick Grimes, maintaining his involvement on the show while resolving an unsolved comic plot thread.
Rick Grimes was assassinated before being put to rest by son Carl Grimes in the penultimate issue.

In the show's finale, the masked figure seems to be trained in martial arts and is seen using Japanese kama weapons - which Claudia would have access to as a museum curator.
Father Gabriel's voiceover indicates that this person is connected deeper than just being an enemy and could be linked to Maggie Rhee.

An eagle-eyed fan wrote on Twitter: "Just had a crazy thought. Might be a stretch, but who knows. For those who read #TWD: The Alien, we were introduced to Claudia.
"She met up with Rik's brother and before he died he wanted Claudia to find Rick. What if the mystery lady is Claudia on her journey to find Rick?!"
The zombie saga HAS been renewed by AMC for an eleventh season. However, there's no official air date.

And one noticed a major inconsistency during the first few minutes of the very first episode, as sheriff Rick Grimes (played by Andrew Lincoln) was involved in a shootout while the zombie outbreak unfolded.
