BOISE, Idaho (CBS 2) — A six-ton "potato" is now available for overnight stays south of Boise.
The Idaho Potato Commission's iconic 6-ton giant potato, which had been on several national tours, was retired in 2017 and recently carved into a rental near the Boise Stage Stop exit on Orchard Access Road off Interstate-84.
The potato features air conditioning, an indoor fireplace, hot water, free parking, bed and bath. It's currently running about $200 a night on Airbnb's website.
