Who is Cydney Bridges?
Cydney Bridges, 23, was born in July 2000 and moved to Fort Wayne, Indiana, when she was just two years old.
Cydney's mother is said to have enrolled her into several youth programmes such as dancing, singing and sports.
It didn't take long before Cydney found her calling and entered her first pageant show at ten years old.
Cydney was the only black girl at that pageant, which made her question why no one looked like her at the event.

However, it didn't stop her from having a great time and an enjoyable experience, according to the Fort Wayne Ink Spot.
Cydney is the youngest of four and has one brother who is a musician.
She was raised by her single mother, who works as a nurse.
Cydney would later follow in her mother's footsteps after majoring in nursing at Huntington University.

She graduated last year and secured a job as a registered nurse at Riley Hospital for Children in Indianapolis.
The nurse was fascinated by the Miss America organisation and decided to compete for the Miss Indiana title in 2023.
She impressed the judges with her intelligence and talent and was later crowned Miss Indiana - becoming one of few black women to win the state title.
She received a $10,000 scholarship and a chance to compete for Miss America.

Cydney was named the second runner-up in the Miss America competition Sunday night.
Before taking the stage one last time she wrote in a post: " I am feeling incredibly grateful and blessed for this amazing opportunity with so many amazing women.
"No matter what happens on Sunday night I know I will leave Miss America with the fullest heart."
She added: "Tonight is the talent competition to send prayers my way."
Cydney could've been the ninth black woman in history to win the Miss America title since it started in 1921.
Who won Miss America 2024
An active duty officer has won Miss America for the first time in its history.
Madison Marsh, 22, is a second lieutenant in the US Air Force and also a master's student.
Madison who was representing Colorado beat 51 other women to claim the coveted prize.
Miss America was established on September 8 1921 and has seen 95 women hold the title.
Madison will receive a $50,000 tuition scholarship and was handed the crown by last year's pageant winner Grace Stanke.
