SUMMER might be coming to a swift end but there's a clever way to hold onto your golden tan well into the cooler months - and we don't mean buying the fake stuff in a bottle.
Instead, one woman has revealed how to fake a flawless glow using a popular brew you might know as tea, so make yourself a cuppa and listen up - but don't forget to save the tea bags.

In a video shared on the MetDaan Fashion Facebook page, but originally on Blossom, a beauty fan demonstrates how to make your own gradual tanner by adding tea to your body moisturiser.
While the colour isn't necessarily instant, when applied daily it offers a subtle glow - making it easy to maintain the colour year round.
In the clip, the woman starts by brewing a few tea bags in a cup of hot water - as if you were making a cuppa yourself.
After removing them, she squeezes the tea bags straight into your tub of moisturiser or lotion - and remember, the more tea you get the darker the colour.

If your moisturiser is in a tube or a bottle rather than a tub, perhaps strain it into a measuring cup, or something similar, which will allow you to easily pour the liquid straight into the container.
The woman then mixes the liquid into the cream which will leave you with a slightly brownish product.
Then apply it to your body as normal aiming for once or twice a day for silky smooth skin with a hint of colour.

While the method certainly seems odd at first, the video demonstrates its tanning power with the woman showing off the results over a 30 day period - and it certainly is impressive.
Of course, if you want a darker colour you can apply regular fake tan on top, or simply add more tea to your moisturiser.
The clip also features a range of other genius beauty hacks that use common household ingredients to solve annoying every day problems - such as a solution to chaffing or ways to sooth red and irritated skin.
