The stunt was a claustrophobe's nightmare, as the YouTuber survived in a custom made casket for an entire week. The video garnered 59 million views.
“Please don’t try this at home,” MrBeast said.
The 25-year-old, whose real name is Jimmy Donaldson, has 212 million subscribers and has become the world's biggest and richest YouTuber.
He earns anywhere from $3 million to $5 million per month just from ad revenue.

In his latest stunt, MrBeast risked his own life to break the record for most time spent buried alive.
He was lowered into the ground in a clear-walled coffin that was designed to withstand the weight of the ground above him.
He was only given an initial supply of food and water that wouldn't be replenished.

The coffin was filled with cameras both to record the video and make sure the influencer was safe.
Once he was lowered into his "grave," MrBeast's team buried him under 20,000 pounds of dirt.
“I’m entrusting my life to this coffin for the next seven days,” Donaldson said.
While there was concern that he wouldn't be able to stand due to forming blood clots from laying down for seven days, Donaldson came out physically unscathed.
However, the stunt was psychologically exhausting for him and he was seen in tears multiple times during the video, including when he was taken out of the casket.
Even though he suffered through the challenge, MrBeast smashed the previous record of 50 hours, which he set, by staying buried alive for 168 hours.
MrBeast showed his gratitude for his fans after the agonizing stunt, speaking out on Twitter.
"I still can’t believe this many people show up every time I upload.. I LOVE ALL OF YOU," he wrote.
In the previous video that MrBeast posted, he built 100 wells in Africa to provide drinking water to those in need. The project brought clean drinking water to an estimated 500,000 people.
Many people criticized him as a white savior and someone who was monetizing kindness. He seemed prepared for the incoming hate.

“I already know I’m gonna get canceled because I uploaded a video helping people, and to be 100% clear, I don’t care,” Donaldson said on X, formerly known as Twitter.
“I’m always going to use my channel to help people and try to inspire my audience to do the same.”
